If you are making plans to head to Jacksonville, Florida for the last weekend in October to hopefully celebrate yet another victory of the Georgia Bulldawgs over the Gators of the University of Florida, then you have made an excellent choice. This legendary game, known around the country as The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party will not disappoint. This neutral site for the game requires that even the schools’ respective students travel, so the hotels in the area book up quickly. Therefore, it is key that you start early and book in advance to be in the prime location. The prime location is not, as one may think, near the stadium, but rather near the Jacksonville Landing, a tourist area along the river with lots of restaurants, events for the game, and night life. Many fans travel to and from The Landing via taxi, but others bring their own cars for what is sure to be some of the best tailgating in all of college football. If you do plan to drive, plan to spend upwards of 20 on parking, and you will likely still be walking a quarter to a half mile or more to get to the stadium. Have fun!
