With both BCS and Heisman trophies already resting on the mantle, there’s no use in living in denial, the SEC is Alabama’s to lose. The road will not be easy however, as one or two hiccups could easily keep the Tide from the SEC Championship. The SEC is surprisingly unbalanced this season, with typically underachieving units in the West finally emerging as true contenders. From top to bottom, you can truly find hope and optimism everywhere (outside of Starkville that is).
- Alabama With Mr. Heisman Mark Ingram back in the fold, alongside QB Greg McElroy, the Red Elephants should have little difficulty throwing their weight around on offense again this season. Critics may be concerned the defense is only returning two starters, but with Nick Saban at the helm, you can be certain the D will be ready to play come game day. Read the rest of this entry »
